Brett Favre Finally Retires

What do you all think about this? I mean, even as a Minnesota Vikings fan, it was fun to watch this guy play. He owns every major statistical record for a QB in NFL history. I honestly thought he would be back for the 2008 season, but who can blame him for going out after the season he and the Packers had in 2007. I can only imagine the stress that any professional sport can place on someone. It's gotta be worse than any full time job that a normal person has. Constantly studying and working out. He is lucky to be going out on his terms and not because of an injury or something like that. That happens very rarely in football where someone walks away because they've lost the heart to play, but not the ability physically.

I would like to wish him well in his football retirement and future endeavors, whatever they may be. I will miss seeing him work his magic on Sundays, that's for sure.

Good luck to a guaranteed first ballot Hall Of Famer in 2013!!!

Mike

I was shocked to find that out. But, the man is a beast. Before the realignment I hated playing Green Bay twice, as a Bucs fan. Kinda glad we got out of that division lol.

Great player, deserving of all the praise and accolades!
