The Missouri High School Helmet Project

I liked looking at the LSW Helmets. What do you have in mind for Staley High School? Their colors will be Dark Green, Black & Silver

Who is this school? Do they have a team yet (JV) and are they going to play varsity anytime soon?

Depending on their status, I may try to come up with something....I'm extremely busy right now, however, trying to get helmets done for both Missouri and Illinois, so this will have to wait....

If you have any ideas, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with...

They're going to start in the fall of '08. They should have a varsity schedule set by early spring. Supposedly It will become one of the best schools, facilities wise, in the North Kansas City area. I've seen its campus. Looks like a small college! I was thinking a dark green with an atlanta falcon emblem on the side or a some sort of a black helmet.

I'll see what I can come up with...

I assume this school will be in North Kansas City then?

Just out of curiosity, any idea how big this school is, meaning what class you think they will be in and conference, if any?

I'd imagine they will be playing class 4? I know it's essentially going to take a chunk out of Oak Park's section of the NKC School district. In All likelyhood it'll be in the Suburban Conference, probably Lee's Summit West will bump up to the Mid, and Staley will be in the Small... not sure what's going to happen, all the conferences are swapping schools in and out this next cycle lol

Yeah....That's going to make updating this site a lot of fun....

I'm pretty stoked to see this new MRVC... it looks pretty exciting. Too bad Lawson didn't go to the MEC!

I think they should...However, it would make them the smallest school by quite a ways, if they did...I think they've outgrown the KCI....They own that conference and have for the past two or three years...They don't really have a lot of choices in the particular geographic location they are in...If they were a bit larger, I would LOVE to see it...

What are the conference switches going on? All I know about is Boonville moving to the NCMC. What is going elsewhere in the state?

Also, is there any truth to the rumor of MSHSAA going to 8 team districts for the next two year cycle? I heard the coaches were pushing for it and dumping the conferences in football for a two year run...

There is a design of a falcon on their website that looks pretty good. There's no info on the football team yet, just some stuff about the principal and some pics. Anyone heard who may be coaching there?

That is a cool looking logo...I'm going to give that one a try first...

What do you think of these? Personally, I like the black helmets with the dark green facemasks...I vectorized the logo on their site and then used a dark green, however, I didn't know how dark to make the green...I outlined the logo and stripes in silver...The stripes are Ravens/Titans style stripes...It's just what I thought looked best...Anyway, this is what I came up with...

To me, the best looking helmet for this would be a black helmet with dark green metallic flake, a dark green facemask, at least dark green Raven/Titan's stripes (even without silver outline) and this particular logo...It would look awesome on the field...

Do you still want me to try others? I think it would be criminal to try using other logos, since the school is already using this one for it's identity...I also think that using a different color helmet would dilute the logo as well...

I just had another scary thought....I'm so in love with this helmet that I'm going to try putting together a set of uniforms for it...

Those Pics with the Revolution Helmets look amazing! I don't know Mike, I think the Black with Black looks pretty darn good.
